If your going to compile programs "build-essentials" are a good start. Then you can add extra library's if needed by just looking for them. The C/C++ library's are installed with "build-essentials". You can use Synaptic or apt-get. (#apt-get install build-essentials) Cheers, Bart. -- OpsVentus
