Looks like I need to use modprobe but I assume there must be a list of
sound cards that can be set up: example sudo modprobe opl3sa2

	Subject: sound card

when I first installed my dapper ubuntu, I did not have a sound
card.

Latter I found one in a pc grave yard that had been yanked out.
It was sound blaster sound card.

I put the card in the machine. There was a small wire that seem
to fit on the cdrom from the sound card.

I then booted up the machine.

However I can't seem to figure out where to set the card up. I
looked at devices in admin but did not see anywhere to add a card.

I did a google search but I did not see anything specific about
when you add a card to a machine that peviously did not have a card.
Most everything was about my driver does not work or such. Which god
forbid, could sit on the horrizon in my future... but first step one.
Where does one "add" a sound card to an ubuntu machine that previously
had no sound card?

	Thanks
	Pat
