but I assume there must be a list of sound cards that can be set up:

the machine. There was a small wire that seem to fit on the cdrom from the

search but I did not see anything specific about when you add a card to a
machine that peviously did not have a card. Most everything was about my
driver does not work or such. Which god forbid, could sit on the horrizon in
my future... but first step one. Where does one "add" a sound card to an
ubuntu machine that previously had no sound card?</FONT></SPAN></DIV>
