Well I intended to say: Please make sure that you use a recent
version. This is because wine is developped quickly and it does
not make sense to look for problems that are
releated to old/ancient versions of wine.
However I did not mean to say that the latest version of wine is
always the best! Actually here and there, there are
incompatibilities introduced with new versions that you think
should have long been fixed. ;-)
Anyway your version 0.9.16 is imho pretty recent. I think the
most recent is currently 0.9.17.
Now, what is your problem?
Ex.:
What application(s) do you intend to
use with Wine?
What did you do to make it work? and
What do you
get as a result/failure?
regards
Eberhard
