Ok, so you're saying that I have the wrong distribution of wine. I
added wine.budgetdedicated.com/apt breezy main to my sources.list and
apt-got it from there. Is that the "wrong" version? (I found that
source by reading the Ubuntu forums and related threads).
apt-cache showpkg wine produces :
Package: wine
Versions:
0.9.16~winehq0~ubuntu-5.10-1(/var/lib/apt/lists/wine.budgetdedicated.com_apt_dists_breezy_main_binary-i386_Packages)(/var/lib/dpkg/status)
0.0.20050725-Oubuntu1.1(.var.lib/apt/lists/security,.ubuntu.com_ubuntu_dists_breezy-security_universe_binary-i386_Packages)
dpkg-query --print-avail wine shows the installed version as
0.9.16~winehq0~ubuntu-5.10-1
