Dapper-Evolution-Palm-Sync__Broken?

  I have been trying for many hours to get my Palm M130 to sync to Evolution
via USB.
I have recorded all my settings from Breezy where is still works fine.
(Dapper was
a clean install). I have tried KPilot, JPilot also no joy. I eventually
found a post from
last month suggesting that the Palm sync is broken. Is this the case?
  Has anyone gotten a Palm handheld to snyc with Evolution under Dapper?
Any advice would be appreciated.

AMD64 running i386 Dapper.
