I think that the very way to let them know that there is a significant
numbers of customers wanting them to change is to have a lot of
different people sending them complains/reports . For one in the
community (like us) it's difficult to speak the way the newbies do. We
will stick on Ideology and theory and that will not impress any
manufacturers. Newbies can say in a simple way what bothers them and
speak like a new customers. And if we join newbies in that action,
Marketing department will see a lot of different customers' requests.
As you said, it's up to us to start but it'll be more efficient to make
easy for newbies to join.
