Hello All
I have a related subject that i hope i will find here the answer for it
I'm trying to get some of my apps to be able to read hebrew (i'm with
dapper), specialy mythtv.
if i 'locale -a" i get:
C
POSIX
en_AU.utf8
en_BW.utf8
en_CA.utf8
en_DK.utf8
en_GB.utf8
en_HK.utf8
en_IE.utf8
en_IN
en_NZ.utf8
en_PH.utf8
en_SG.utf8
en_US.utf8
en_ZA.utf8
en_ZW.utf8
my ~/.bashrc reads:
# Language
export LANG=he_IL
export LC_ALL=en_US.UTF-8
and /etc/enviroment reads:
PATH="/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/bin/X11:/usr/games"
LANG="en_IL.UTF-8"
LANGUAGE="en_IL:en"
i can change the keybord layout (but if i do it while i'm in a terminal
i cant switch back to english, instead i get a lot of ????)
in mythtv i define a unicode font
and yet i can see any hebrew just ?????
any ideas?
thnx in advance
