I installed all french packages on another computer and firefox works on
it, but eventhough mozilla-firefox-fr-fr is installed on the 1st laptop
the language remains english. I tried japanese and all the computer
changes to japanese but firefox. I dont know what to do.

My second problem is that i use UIM and UIM applet to change from
regular caracters to japanese letters and it does not work with french
(it works with japanese). I doesnt change the typing with Shid rft+space
Any one has managed to make it work?

Third question is if there is a way to change the default language only
on some applications so that i could have email, firefox and openoffice
in english and the rest of the desktop in english.

And last i would like to know the difference between utf-8 and
utf-8 at euro. I found out all euro language give you that option.

Thanks in advance,
