The menu is not on the "image menu", but on the "page menu", ie. 3rd
click somewhere on the page that is not occupied by an image or plugin.

I don't think that is possible.

Indeed.  I was just trying to explain how to do the blocking in Opera,
and I think it is very easy to use, especially since it magically adds
wildcards.  I were not aware of the extra features of Adblock as it is
not something I was aware of by just using it, ie. had to RTFM.

When it comes to ads, one of my reason for using Opera has for a long
time has been that it has been very easy to enable/disable GIF
animation and plugins, as that is the noisiest part of pages, to me.
But in Opera 9 they have added support for SVG animation, and
disabling that doesn't work for me.  (Haven't got the time to file a
bug report on that yet.)  To remove the add altogether is of course
the best solution, and you have given some examples of even more
advanced possibilities.
