When I first started using Linux years ago, it was much harder, forums
are not that active yet, hardware support was difficult, I have to
figure things out by myself.. it was really hard and countless
sleepless nights just trying to learn.. From my experience, Linux has
gone a long way, from a geeky OS, to a child's play machine (my 3 yr
old son uses Edubuntu and loves it).. sometimes it just takes a little
patience.. sometimes we concentrate to much on the solution rather than
the problem that we go off the track and became frustrated.. Honestly,
after configuring my Linux machines according to my needs, I can say
that it is definitely better than Windows.. I know you'll come back in
the future.. just take your time, don't rush..
