Cupsys problem with latest update

I had the exact problem.



My solution was to open Synaptic, search for cupsys select it, and
choose "Force Version" from the Package Menu (Ctrl E) then choose the
older 1.2.0 version.  Cupsys will then show up in the "To be
Downgraded" section.  Simply choosing uninstall (and later install) as
mentioned above causes problems because it wants to also un-install
ubuntu-desktop, as cupsys is apperently a requirement.
