Which "tuner" software to use?

Hi Everybody,

Now that my KWorld VS-TV878RF PCI "TV Tuner Expert" card
is working perfectly under Linux, I am facing a new kind of
problem. Let me explain:

tvtime-scanner finds _almost_ all the channels provided by my
cable provider. However, the signal strength is probably weak for
some channels, so that although they _are_ available, they are
not detected by tvtime-scanner (the fact that they really _are_ available
can be seen from the way kdetv scans for channels. There I can
see the channel "go past" without the channel appearing in the final list
and I could not stop the scanner at that location to see the frequency
and add it manually.)

Could you suggest any suitable scaner program that can serve
my purpose?
