My problem is not that the ipod is not recognized. Gtkpod sees the ipod
just fine and can read the database. My problems is that I get Buffer
I/O errors on the drive when trying to copy stuff from it (I haven't
tried writing to the ipod) which hangs the copy process until I unplug
the ipod.
The same thing happens with plain old cp.
