Dapper install CD won't run on my AMD64 (was: Lots of Dapper Problems)

Sorry, I forgot this was a new thread.

It starts loading services and seems to have no problems until it starts GDM
and then "HP Printing Utilities."  At this point, the screen goes blank and
nothing else happens.  Neither the CD nor the hard drive appear to be
spinning.  This happens with every kind of fix I've tried.
