It also runs very nicely on quite a range of hardware. From old latops 
to much more modern machines. And the number of applications available 
for it is quite impressive.

Interestingly enough, with Microsoft's WGA stupidity, I have people come 
to me and say "Maybe I should just put Linux on my machine..." at which 
point I hand them out a Ubuntu Live/Install CD. :)
