Dapper on Hp ML310 "G3"

Privative hardware drivers are a PITA. That's why I prefer to use hardware 
supported by free software hardware drivers so I'm not dependant on the 
distribution/version I'm using,
Recently I had some issues withs a SUN X4200, it is supported by RHEL, SUSE 
but not Ubuntu.. Finally I made a package with 2.6.16, modified the dapper 
install CD and It worked.. but this is too much work to install a server...
I'll start looking for a Dell server.. let's see if I'm lucky...
