Please do NOT rely on these specifiations. 

As one does further reading, the detailed specs say, that e.g. SLES is 
supported, but not SuSE.

I guess I could write a book regarding these tryout. In my case, it wasn't a 
310, but nevertheless, here my findings:

It was on SuSE 9.3-10.0
Provided drivers simply don't work, if you aren't on SLES, i guess it will be 
the same with RHEL, so I won't be too sure, that Dapper will work. It can, 
but is must not just due to these specs.

SATA is important for you? Look, if you can get a testmachine by HP, I didn't 
manage to get it to work some time ago.
