Dunno, it's been 24 months since I used ext3 (which explains the first
two dunnos), but I don't believe it does.
I have had zero problems with reiser in all these months on various
machines. I could even recover from a stupid 'rm -rf ~/*' issued at just
the wrong time. I also like the way Hans thinks and what he has in mind
for the future, I can't wait for reiser4 to get reasonably stable
