USB mouse not working upon bootup

interestingly, I had this problem with 5.10 but is now resolved in
6.06.. in 5.10, I had to plugged out and replugged even after using a
terminal since the mouse became unresponsive after it.. I still have
not work out what exactly is wrong with it though..
