RMS, Free software and the Ubuntu CDs

hey, thanks for pointing that link out.. I just realise from the site
that the official ubuntu cds or the "main" repository do actually
contain non free firmware! I had always thought that ubuntu is
completely free if i do not install anything from the "restricted"
repository..
now thinking of it, it is no wonder rms wrote that on the cd cover..
