I don't know... check the config file you used for the build for the EFI
flag?

Now, I just did a few trials and started picking albums at random to
export. Some of them transfer without a problem, but after a few trials I
always find a song that hangs the process. If I unplug the ipod,
reconnect and try again, the same song always breaks it. That seem odd,
doesn't it? 

I tought that it might be a problem with a bad sector or something
hardware related, but 1) windows had no problem with this ipod and 2) the
ipod can play those sons without problems.

If you find something out, please post back.
