It's graphical installer lets you set up Grub or Lilo with the option to 
be graphical or textual. The configuration can be done via the command 
line or KDE and GNOME both have a menu item to modify this setting. 
Actually Mandriva has front-end menu items for most of the configurable 
portions of the system.
