Try using:
apic=off;acpi=off;pci=noacpi

That should cover the gamut of acpi related stuff. You may want to check 
your bios settings for the following:

PnP Aware OS = NO
Acpi = Off
Power Management = Off

Additionally in the bios you may need to set:

System Bios Cachable = No
Video Bios Cachable = No

Also if you aren't using the Com Ports make sure they are disabled in 
the Bios. This will free up 1-2 IRQ's and may resolve a potential 
hardware conflict that could be the source of your problems.
