Thanks for the suggestions, but I it isn't working quite the way it was
supposed to. Let me explain.

When I used the jre that was in the Universe repository it only
installed into Mozilla (browser) and Konquerer. Wouldn't install into
Firefox because I am not using 1.0.7. I previously manually upgraded to
1.5. So what I did was copy the plugins from /usr/lib/mozilla/plug-ins
to /usr/lib/mozilla-firefox/plug-ins and java worked. Well it works! I
play games on Pogo.com a lot. If I go into a Java game that opens a
popup to load another part of that same java game the second part will
not open. I have disabled the pop-up blocker and the ad-blocker but it
still won't open. I don't think this is a java problem because that same
exact java plugin works perfectly on the same game, in the same room on
Mozilla.

Any ideas?

PS - I have a whole crap load of extensions in firefox enabled, could
one of them be breaking my java functionality somehow?
