Why is xorg ignoring the frequencies I give it?

The refresh rate is calculated using the Horizontal Synchronization and 
Vertical Synchronization. But the connection between them is not 
obvious. Suffice to say that there is no mistake. If the xserver can't 
start, then you have entered something about the syncs incorrectly.
