[Dapper] Nvidia drivers

has anybody managed to get the nvidia driver (from their website) 
working in Dapper. In Breezy it works perfectly, but in Dapper there 
seems to be some sort of issue. The install says that it's completed 
sorrectly, but when I restart X, it tells me that I should restart it 
when X is configured correctly. I have an amd64 cpu and a Geforce FX5900.
