Dial up modem problems - again

There is an easier way to set up a dial-up connection. Go to systems => 
Administration => Networking. Type in your password when prompted. 
Double click on modem connection. Select "Enable this connection" and 
type in the phone number, etc. Then go to the Modem tab and click 
autodetect. Your modem should now run. (This worked for me)
