Will Ubuntu use KDE instead of Gnome ?

Dear Friends,

I know we can have other desktops with ubuntu like many other distros, BUT
ubuntu comes with GNOME on a single CD, I would like to know is there any
discussion between the developers and the founder to replace Gnome with KDE
? have you heared any news ?
