Will Ubuntu use KDE instead of Gnome ?

Is it really possible ? I read that Mr. Shuttleworth uses Kubuntu instead of
Ubuntu, this means that he prefers KDE
Is there any discussion between the developers to change Gnome with KDE in
Ubuntu ??
Is it possible or probable ?
Do you know what does Mr. Shuttleworth and developers think ?
