hadn't personally noticed that... I'm notorious for remaing logged in for days 
with the same Opera and Firefox sessions running... I've had Opera 8.01 up 
and going for some 4 days continuously and never noticed anything.

my current opera session is about 20 hours old and has some 38 open tabs... no 
problems at all with it.
