Ratpoison, wmii, and ion are all significantly quicker to load (and
carry a much smaller footprint) than either flux or blackbox.  On the
other hand they like the features and eye candy of these two smallish
wm.  They are worth looking at however.  Just google for them and take a
look at each site for your self.
