AFAIK, the path you specify in preferred apps should be like

	'path/to/firefox %s'

i also replaced 1.07 with 1.5 and to better integrate 1.5 i also did

	'mv /usr/bin/firefox /usr/bin/firefox.ubuntu'
	'mv /usr/bin/mozilla-firefox /usr/bin/mozilla-firefox.ubuntu'
	'ln -s /path/to/firefox /usr/bin/firefox'
	'ln -s /path/to/firefox /usr/bin/mozilla-firefox'
