How do you get phpmyadmin to work

Hi,
Assuming that Mysql, PHP and Apache are correctly installed and running, 
point the browser to the web space which should include the phpmyadmin 
directory. I think there should be a file called index.php which can be 
loaded. Once correctly fired up, you can start playing with the GUI to 
Mysql in lieu of the CLI.
