When I set up my wireless with WEP I did not include the dashes
in my key. Just entered the key as one large string. Maybe you
could try that?

Hi Philip,
the unencrypted wireless connexion works perfectly.
Ive tried :
- to modify etc/network/interfaces manually or
graphically (network-admin)
- to input my 10 digits key dashed every 4 digits
- to input s:<key> with my 10 digits (64 bits) wep key
- to input the key as is
- to connect with gtkwifi, kwifimanager...
- to run knoppix 3.8.1
- to encrypt with 128bits hex
all that, unsuccessfully !
:-(
But on the other hand, win$ saddly supports my WEP
encryption.
snif snif. i dont wanna lose my ubuntu...
