I have a T42 with Radeon M7. I use dual-head successfully with Xorg 6.8.2.
I haven't tried Xorg 6.9/7.0 yet, but if you can find my xorg.conf file
at http://mg.pov.lt/xorg.conf in case you're interesting.
(Downloading X.org 7.0 from dapper now.)
