editing savedefault entry in /boot/grub/menu.lst

Hi there,

I am wanting to get a specific grub entry to be the default during the 
boot process, and  I am not very experienced editing /boot/grub/menu.lst

Ubuntu, kernel 2.6.15-27-686 is consistently the entry that is booted 
but I want to have my windows partition as I am working on a ton of 
windows projects for the time being.

I changed my 'default'  setting to 'saved' and added 'savedefault' 
command to the 'Microsoft Windows XP Professional' entry.  I figured 
rebooting XP would be loaded by default.  It does not happen.  Any clues 
what I am doing wrong?
