openoffice problems on edgy

some users on ubuntuforums are reporting problems with updating their
openoffice (in edgy I believe). Their thread is here:

if you're having such a problem and you need openoffice back *now*, you
might want to look at this thread, which includes instructions on how to
install OOo in a local, firefox-style way without affecting apt/dpkg:
