List of packages from certain repo

This may be a way to find out all the packages in the repo, but a) it 
doesn't show me the packages i've installed from that repo, and b) is a 
whole lot of work for something that should/could be quite simple.

It's a bit strange that programs like apt aptitude and synaptic can't 
complete a simple task like this.
