Edgy crashes when shutting down and a volume is mounted with cifs

Hi all,
Edgy seems to crash always when something is mounted via CIFS and I
reboot or shut it down.
To fix this I need to make a script which finds everything, that is
mounted with CIFS and then it needs to be executed every time when the
system shuts down and reboots. I think that's runlevel 0 and 6, but
I'm not sure how this works on Edgy, since it has a new init system.
I'm also not sure what's the best way to figure out what is mounted
with cifs (is mount | grep cifs | awk '{print $3}' enough?)
I think this is quite a serious issue, but I'm not sure where to report a bug.
Thanks for advices!
Nils
