update-manager broken after edgy upgrade

Please try the following to try and fix update-manager:
'sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install update-manager'
And report what happens. If no errors came up, try running
update-manager again. Otherwise, follow the instructions apt-get will
give you (usually either 'dpkg --configure -a' or 'apt-get -f
install'). If all fails, I might still be able to help you out...
