I'm not a Christian, and I found the Dan Brown "gospel" really silly.  
 From what I understand he ties everything to the painting of the last 
supper?  And claims that, the effeminate fellow in it is a woman?  If 
you look at many other paintings during that era, there are tons of 
effeminate looking men.
