Acer TravelMate 512 fails Ubuntu 6.06 install

Hi ! That Looks like the problems I had on my hp6110nx (graphics : intel
915gm) when installing Dapper : 
1. CD defect (I hadn't checked it for defects prior to install)
2. a Xserver compatibility.

As I was lazy to configure/update xserver, I just installed EDGY
successfully.
