A quick search for bugs with the nautilus-sendto package on Launchpad
reveals there is no bug filed for the above issue. I can't see any harm
in filing the issue, it will at least raise awareness with the
developers.

I suppose a better answer is to write the code to fix it and submit a
patch. I considered this at one stage but figured I knew nothing about
programming for Gnome and so it would take me far too long.
