Hi Adam,

you're probably right. I've missed the announcement of 
such repository, and might be willing to use it for the 
reasons you mention last in that paragraph. I hardly ever 
see any talk about packages in there, so is there another 
mailing list for such conversation, or is it (almost) 
totally handled in IRC for example?
