All the Mails on this list are "mirrored" to the ubuntu forums,
as I understand it. See www.ubuntuforums.org

Furthermore, I would recommend that you do not unsubscribe but
just change your list subscription options to get the list mail
in "digests", that means you will not get 150 Mails a day, but
just one or two or three.

I also changed recently to keep the great help that this
list always offers, but at the same time prevent being
constantly flooded with dozens of mails. 
After all, it _luckily_ is not strictly a low-volume list ;-)
