imho, exactly that is the beauty of Linux. It's versatality
produces so many questions but anyone knows something and is
willing to share it with all the others.

While we are at packages, I saw from your mail that you are also
using sylpheed-claws. 

In case that you prefer to use a newer
version, simply add this to your sources.list

## SYLPHEED-CLAWS REPOSITORY
deb http://claws.sylpheed.org/ubuntu/dapper/ ./
