Perhaps.  My point was that LVM has limitations and calling it "good for
everybody" is overselling it.  Whether you call it a statement, claim or
rhetoric makes no difference. It wasn't meant to be a particularly harsh word.

In any case if the HOWTO is as outdated as Alexander implies then most of my
criticisms are defunct.
