Synaptic problem - "The package jedit needs to be reinstalled, but I can't find an archive for it"

I finally got it working.
Apt doesn't help too much here.
What I did instead was:
"dpkg --remove --force-remove-reinstreq jedit"
Which finally removed jedit and synaptic was back again.
