I was never aware we were on a mission to get MS users.... I figured
the migration will happen naturally. I manage to convert at least two
folks per year through simple osmosis. Meaning they see my computer and
wonder aloud what the hell am I doing? I explain gently that they have
been lied to all their lives, that their thoughts and emotions have
been manipulated by Bill Gates in a manner they will deny it ever
happended, and that they will actually fight to keep their hated
Windows even when faced with proof that Linux exceeds in most every
way. While standing there telling me how bad their computer works, they
won't switch, and yet deny they have been manipulated subconsciously.
Its an amazing trick. So I've learned, when they are ready, then this
forum is as good as any. After all, we are trying to learn how to
operate the computer, not just press icons on a desktop.
